prince: musicology concert

a couple weeks ago, the hubby and i went to the staples center to see prince perform. supposedly, this is the last time he will perform his "sexy" songs because he is at a different time on his life. he is now a spiritual person and has joined jehovah's witness.

morris day and the time was the opening for prince. that guy still has energy to perform. when he performed "the bird", everyone was on their feet. he still does the checking himself infront of the mirror and combing his hair routine.

prince performed most of his famous songs. on some, they just did the intro. they also performed some songs from his musicology cd. my favorite was the acoustic version of the concern especially when he sang "red corvette". we also enjoyed the audience participation.

overall, it was a great concert.

a busy week...

it's been a busy week for me especially at work. one of my co-worker is on vacation for a week and i'm taking all her calls. it's double duty for me. weekends are also busy. it's usually errands and family stuff.

i need a vacation....
